Ronald J. Versic, Ph.D., President Ronald T. Dodge Company
Ronald J. Versic, PhD is the Founder and President of the Ronald T. Dodge Company. His interest in controlled release includes microencapsulation, macroencapsulation, and small particle formation. The principle intended applications are in consumer products and in industrial uses.
Dr. Versic was formerly with Pitney Bowes Corporation (Monarch Marketing subsidiary), where he was Director of Chemical Research and Development. Prior to that, he was a Project Engineer for the Standard Register Company where he worked on the development of chemical (carbonless) copy paper. He received his Masters in Physics from the Johns Hopkins University and his Doctorate in Materials Engineering from the Ohio State University.
Dr. Versic is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Institute of Physics. He has received the Award for Outstanding Professional Achievement from the Affiliate Societies Council of the Engineering and Science Foundation of Dayton. Dr. Versic has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Division of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery Systems at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He has taught the course Micro encapsulation & Controlled Release as part of the continuing education program for the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (USA).
